A Day in San Francisco

At Crissy Fields, to be specific.

Back to 1993

Recently, I have added two more pairs of Air Max 93s, becoming the proud owner of a whopping 3 pair total of AM93s. :D. These are pre-History of Air series, so the bubbles are much bigger and impressive. :D Love them…

GO PHAT BUBBLES!

Tomi Sushi San Jose, CA

We have been to many different sushi joints over the years… with my increasing interests on my food picture taking habits… I finally got around to take some snaps of our favorite sushi joint.

Wifey highly recommends the chirashi – Deluxe Special Chirashi

Katsudon is good here too.

Always have to get the grilled mackerel.

Am always up for some anago when I can get them.

my two favorite things from a Japanese restaurant is tamago and unadon… and they are both good at this joint. Just didn’t happen to picture them that day. :-P

Check them out.

Nike Air Max 1 x Patta

Been meaning to post this, its been a while since I actually picked these up…

I also did a comparison with the 1999 Air Max 1…

Quite impressed with the quality. Its 99% identical… from the bubble size to midsoles… pretty on par. Still like this pair the best amongst the 5 pairs they have released. Enjoy!

It’s-It Ice Cream

The sissies finally came through and hooked me up with some IT’S-IT ice cream. This is my first experience with it… and it was da bomb. Especially it was also cappucino flavor!

Sweet!

Lobster Roll

Been on this kick of lobster rolls, thanks to the Wu’s, a good Asian twist to infamous Lobster Roll recipe…

Recipe:

  1. Steam fresh lobsters (about 7 minutes per lb.)
  2. Remove shell and extract lobster meat into mixing bowl; chop to small chunks
  3. Cool or refrigerate for at least 1 hour
  4. Add a dash of cayenne pepper
  5. Add a dash of black pepper
  6. Add Japanese mayo Kewpie to taste
  7. Mix well, add more mayo as needed
  8. Pan toast Hawaiian Sweet Bread with butter
  9. Serve as slider sizes

Hmm… happy eating!
