This year, Lunar New Year happens to fall on Valentines Day.

Wifey and I went on a date…. this time we just spent a couple of hours at the Ferry Building. It was a blast… ate a whole lotta of whatever’s. :D

Afterward, we went to the elders and did our deeds for the ancestors, and got some red envelopes. :-)

Ended the day at the mom’s with some New Year Celebration Dinner:

It was a big weekend for Lotus. We threw a party for her at the Junior Gym San Mateo. Friends and Family attended even though it was Superbowl Sunday. :-) Thanks to Davis for being the official photographer at the party…

This was on the 7th and we did a little Ling Family Special for Lolo on the night of the 8th.

Decided to do a quick get-away with the wifey today… a long due date. Just the two of us…

And it would’ve been wrong to not involve food in this event, and it just so happens to be Dine-About-Town-SF this weekend… last two days!

We chose Butterfly Embarcadero.

Food was spectacular, and service was magnificent, I highly recommend it! :-)

Last night… for the 2nd time, I have seen hail in the the sunshine state… I guess it was just that cold with the 5th thunderstorm that has hit the bay area in about 5 days… me and the family went downstairs to check it out…

This year’s Christmas party courtesy of my company is a bit different. We have a new addition that attended the party from the Ling family. :-) Lotus of course. It was quite generous for the company and the restaurant Evvia.

Damn ~ time flies! I am now married for 6 years, 2010 is just around the corner, and my daughter is now 9 months old. This is ridiculous.

She is happy. I guess thats all it matters for now.

We took her to Palo Alto’s Stanford Shopping Center. It was packed with kids that dressed up, or the whole family was dressed up rather. It was definitely an interesting experience. Cute outfits, but seem very competitive. This took parenting to another level, life has definitely changed. Yup.

The whole family ventured out to the Monterey Bay Aquarium today. Left the house at 9AM, and did not get home till 8PM. Lolo seem to have enjoyed herself, even managed to get a couple of naps in. And both T and I wanted to check out the seahorse exhibit, we had fun too.

And boy was it hard to shoot at the aquarium! Between the lack of light and the distorted tanks, I was surprised that I was even able to get some of these shots. I am glad I managed to get some good ones though.
