舅媽好走

舅媽 lived a good life, she was awesome. Sad to see her go, but the battle to fight cancer was just too much in the end after 1 year.

Friends and Family gathered on Tuesday – September 23rd for her burial. She passed on September 14th at 1:30 PM PST.

LA Weekend

Drove to Los Angeles again over the weekend. Did one of those Saturday early morning and come back late Sunday night kinda deal. I think it was well worth it, got to eat some good food as usual, and got to do what we were supposed to do when we got down there – to see my cousin off.

She is off to St. Louis to teach/lecture next week.

Barely did any pictures while I was down there, just one member of the Liao family, Dee-Dee:

The Twins

The twins came over today.? Being their god parents, we felt that it was our duty to baby sit while their parents attended a wedding.? This was the twin’s first “date” with their god parents.? It was… tiring, almost as if they knew that their parents left them.? They knew.? :-)

The experience involved a lot comforting, singing, cleaning, and feeding.? Overall… it was not too bad.? But it was really nothing but a test for T and I to see what its like to have twins running around… well not exactly running around… but… you know what I mean.

We had them for 4 hours, within that 4 hours, they slept about 2 hours.? They were both really grumpy before the feeding, so we had to handle that.? :-)

Either way… it was pretty fun.? :-)? Lots of drool and wet spots to clean up afterwards.? :-P

Don’t let the picture fool you! They grumpy. ;-)

Photography for the Lee’s

On Sunday, Davis asked me to see if I could take some pictures for him and his family… I said yes….

Special Olympics Weekend

Every year, we attend the special olympics as part of the family tradition. Sister-in-law Lisa is part of the Special Olympics, she is part of the track and field team of San Francisco. It was the perfect weather at the Berkeley Stadium this year… Lisa getting ready…

She was the 4th and the final leg of 400M Relay.

They ended up in 3rd Place! Yay!

And whats the weekend without some heat. :D

Los Angeles Bound

Drove down to LA over the weekend… Had a blast. A bit tiring from driving though… but it was all good.

Had a bit fun with Dee-Dee (not without a bit of allergic reaction to him though):

Also learned how to make this fantastic comfort food from Taiwan:

Let’s Go Oakland

Went to see a game between the Oakland Athletics and the Boston Red Sox today. My friend will probably kill me for putting this title for this particular blog post, but the fact is, Boston Red Sox (last year’s World Series Champions) lost to the Athletics this past weekend in a 3-0 game series loss. They sure didn’t step it up this time. :-)

Regardless, it was a fun, the weather was awesome and ate a crap load of sunflower seeds. :-) Also manage to get some color on my arm and my face.

Happy Birthday Linda & Happy Mother’s Day

Another cake from Copenhagen Bakery in Burlingame, CA.

Every year, Linda celebrates her birthday with Mother’s Day – she feels a bit gypped, but its all fun in the end… so Happy Mother’s Day, Mom.? And Happy Birthday, Linda!

Sunday

So we went over to a park near my friend’s house and sat out for a couple of hours on Sunday and set up a picnic around 4 ish. It was good fun, shot some hoops. :-) For those of you who don’t know, I don’t have a hoop gene in me, I really suck… but this time I actually got some shots in! :-) Was quite proud of myself. :-)

Anyways, it was fun, tri-tip prep’ed by my friend (da bomb!), and we brought bread and some chips. Some pics…

And happen to UN-Deadstock some Huarache’s thinking that the picnic wasn’t gonna happen, cuz it was a bit cold, but what a way to break them out, grass + hoop. :-)

Timmy’s 33rd Birthday

So amongst the new busy schedule of our friends Timmy and Vana’s new birth of their set of twins, we took a few minutes time out to eat some cake to celebrate Timmy’s 33rd birthday. Well deserved time out, I’d say.

The cake was from the Copenhagen Bakery in Burlingame, CA. Chocolate Raspberry baby!

And of course I had to use the new 50mm to capture this moment – the picture turned out awesome!

Noelle Hanah Lee

Everyone, meet Noelle Lee

She was giving me the same look for about 45 minutes, until her mom got home. :-) Cute kid!
