Sunday

So we went over to a park near my friend’s house and sat out for a couple of hours on Sunday and set up a picnic around 4 ish. It was good fun, shot some hoops. :-) For those of you who don’t know, I don’t have a hoop gene in me, I really suck… but this time I actually got some shots in! :-) Was quite proud of myself. :-)

Anyways, it was fun, tri-tip prep’ed by my friend (da bomb!), and we brought bread and some chips. Some pics…

And happen to UN-Deadstock some Huarache’s thinking that the picnic wasn’t gonna happen, cuz it was a bit cold, but what a way to break them out, grass + hoop. :-)

Storm Rockin’

Finally busted these out… after long hesitation. Really don’t know why I should… :-) It probably won’t fall apart or crack like Nike’s newer releases… BS…

Anyways, onto the shoes…

Picture taken infront of my house, pretty cool contrast with that “no parking” sign drawn on the ground.

New Kicks by New Lens

Taken with the 50mm, decided to try it out at home on the kitchen floor. :-)

Turned out great!

Ebay Etiquette

So just last week, I have gotten into a bit of an issue via Ebay. Let me explain, the buyer was too dumbfounded to go pick up his package at the French Post Office, so the package got returned to me. It was the Air Max 95 Grape Retros – which consequently got re-listed, and the buyer has been refunded.

Now the etiquette for this kinda situation is that, if the buyer were to want the shoe re-sent – buyer has to pay for the shipping. This buyer, however, did not understand that fact, I had to explain it to him that this is how things work.

The other option is now then to refund the buyer. And in the case of that option, the buyer will only get the money for the shoe’s original price back, excluding the shipping charges. This was the option chosen by the buyer, and the end result is… Air Max 95 Grape Retros.

Remember – filing a mutual agreement dispute will get your final value fee back (the charge thats incurred by Ebay at the end of an auction based on the price you sold).

Fascinating, ain’t it?

*Update*? The dude has since signed off on the mutual agreement, and I got the final value fee back AND they have been sold, funny how it goes after a day of relisting.

Air Tech Challenge II

A recent pickup.? This release actually proved to be one of Nike’s better workmanship.? I have seen the side-by-side comparison of this retro with the original shoes – and I must say, I am impressed.? Things were consistent, materials are about 98% overlapped!? Good Job Nike!

Now we just need that shirt…

Nike.com actually released a jacket thats matching the shoe… check it out.

MC Hammer

Surfing the channels on the tube the other day… came upon this new show on MTV called Rock the Cradle… and what do I see…

Nike Prices

So, as of lates, the trend in the shoe game seem to have caught onto with the runner side of the Nike sneakers. I personally have experienced in the past two years alone. It was the dunks and the dunk SBs when I first invested my time in this game – it has since gradually moved toward the Air Max’s (which I have always been a fan of)- whether its the max 90s, max 1s, or the structures, for example. Its all grown out of proportions and its now in its full swing. Nike Max 90′s going into almost near the 3 Large’s is unheard of till now.

And with the US economy on the verge of recession along with the deep drop in the exchange rate of the US Dollar, it makes it even worst. Buying from UK and Europe is a nightmare from the State side – talking about like $200 shipped from the UK, for example for a pair of OG colorway Air Max 90s.

It’s a crazy habit, game, hobby, whatever you want to call it now… *sigh… and yet… I can’t stop buying. What is wrong with me?? And get out of my runners world!

Mo’ Sneakers

The latest addition to my ever-growing shoe collection… bad bad bad… but I am very excited!

Everyone, meet the forever hard to find Nike Air Max 1990 Storms:

Sneaker St.

A friend and I have been doing sneaker selling for a over a year now… and we have come a long way since. The online Ebay store has been doing pretty well. And now we have moved on to moving the business onto its own website. Not to confuse this ebay store to my ebay store of course – totally separate identities. :-)

We have started a temporary location for the website, its only a blog now… check it out.

Latest Pickups…

Finally got around to taking some pictures…
