Whole Foods

So this morning when I went to the Peet’s in my neighborhood, I saw a tour bus. Why were they there? You will be surprised… the tour was for Whole Foods! There were Koreans outside posin’ for pics! And as I went in to pick up something for to-be lunch, they were kinda sitting around and chatting and walking around with the waist bags… some retro stylin’!

Tourism at its best!

Happy Birthday Linda & Happy Mother’s Day

Another cake from Copenhagen Bakery in Burlingame, CA.

Every year, Linda celebrates her birthday with Mother’s Day – she feels a bit gypped, but its all fun in the end… so Happy Mother’s Day, Mom.? And Happy Birthday, Linda!

Buy My Sneakers!

These have been sitting on my ebay listing way too long. GO BUY THEM, for those of you that may have come to my blog via search engine results and niketalk. ;-)

Check it out at my ebay store along with other sneakers for sale too!

Iron Man

Go Watch this movie…

Iron Man Poster

It was one of the better Marvel movies I have seen by far. Robert Downey Jr. made a perfect Tony Stark! :-) And the Audi’s are sick! :-)

But, ya know, I am no movie critic, but, it was very entertaining! I highly recommend it. :-)

More on the recent JD Air Max 90s

So I just realized today that the Air Max 90 Mesa’s that people are “nicknaming” of the latest JD Max 90s, is actually not Mesa’s. It actually should be Sunbursts.Check the following pictures:OGsMesa’s from 2002Pic Courtesy of Raps and Sneakz. The Swoosh are actually neon red, not orange-ish.Just an FYI. :D

Nike Air Max 1 ID

So I rocked some ID’s for the day of work today. Somebody said that it reminded them of Boy Scouts, so I ended up nicknaming them the Boy Scouts myself. And, yes, they are armed with white Mesh! :D

I wish I did more IDs when they were at $90 and Max 90s at $95. Lots of great colorways were available. *Hitting myself against the wall*DAMN IT!

JD Comes up with another one

So over the weekend, JD Sports UK comes up with another release of the Original Colorways of Nike Air Max 90. The shoe was suspected to be released in June, but caught the sneaker community by surprise on Friday. The “Mesas” or the “SunBursts” – whatever you wanna call them looks like this, courtesy of sneakernews.com:Thanks to my Dutch contingency for the heads up. :-)And thanks to the UK contingency for ordering them for me. :-)To put things in perspective, JD also recently released another original colorway, the “limes” or the “spruces”:At this rate, its got two more colorways to go, the corals and the infrareds (being that JD has never released the infrareds as their own collaboration with Nike). Lots of money to be spent on these JD exclusives! Stupid ass American Dollars!*Update* Here is the Original Five:

Sorry, IE

Friggin’ eh!? And this whole time I thought it was stupid IE.

So at the top of this blog, do you see the “About” link?? For the longest time there was a white “background” blocking it, almost like a layer right above it – but only in IE.? I thought, this whole time, its an IE bug.? But upon more careful investigation, it was my mistake.? I forgot the put in an </a> for the “Home” link.? My bad – IE – Sorry.

Moral of the story, complete your end tags before you type in anything between those tags.? :-)

Sunday

So we went over to a park near my friend’s house and sat out for a couple of hours on Sunday and set up a picnic around 4 ish. It was good fun, shot some hoops. :-) For those of you who don’t know, I don’t have a hoop gene in me, I really suck… but this time I actually got some shots in! :-) Was quite proud of myself. :-)

Anyways, it was fun, tri-tip prep’ed by my friend (da bomb!), and we brought bread and some chips. Some pics…

And happen to UN-Deadstock some Huarache’s thinking that the picnic wasn’t gonna happen, cuz it was a bit cold, but what a way to break them out, grass + hoop. :-)

Storm Rockin’

Finally busted these out… after long hesitation. Really don’t know why I should… :-) It probably won’t fall apart or crack like Nike’s newer releases… BS…

Anyways, onto the shoes…

Picture taken infront of my house, pretty cool contrast with that “no parking” sign drawn on the ground.

Timmy’s 33rd Birthday

So amongst the new busy schedule of our friends Timmy and Vana’s new birth of their set of twins, we took a few minutes time out to eat some cake to celebrate Timmy’s 33rd birthday. Well deserved time out, I’d say.

The cake was from the Copenhagen Bakery in Burlingame, CA. Chocolate Raspberry baby!

And of course I had to use the new 50mm to capture this moment – the picture turned out awesome!

New Kicks by New Lens

Taken with the 50mm, decided to try it out at home on the kitchen floor. :-)

Turned out great!

50mm

So I finally picked up a Canon Lens 50mm! Very exciting. The way the lens handles lighting is just sick!

Crawfish Beignet

So over the weekend, we decided that we wanted some southern comfort style breakfast, so we went to Brenda’s. And I gotta share it with everyone about it and let you know that their crawfish beignets are to die for!

They have other great foods, and the serving size is quite large, so bring your appetite, maybe for some banana bread French toasts or chocolate chip pancakes (they were the specials that day), or some grits – Tiff said it was yummers!

Blogging

I am sure someone out there has blogged about this before, but when one is blogging, what is the state of mind at that moment.? Are you talking to yourself??? Or are you talking to the world?? Is it an online diary kinda thing? Or is it simply personal rants that just happen to go a public forum – i.e. the internet.

Its a very interesting concept. ? Am I talking to you or am I talking to myself?? As a matter of fact, is there anyone even friggin reading this thing?? Its like why am I even writing this sh*t?

Just thoughts and random rants…
